Nancy Young It was hard for me to imagine in 2007 that an African American man with an unfortunate middle name would win the nomination and then the Presidency twice. Crystal Ball predictions just don't always pan out. Bernie Sanders had said following the Iowa Caucus that he intends to stay in the race until the Democratic National Convention. So if Rachel has trouble imagining it that may be a lack of imagination on her part.

Che Bustamante Bernie is no Barack Obama.

Jodi Scott The Playboy article in it's entirety, rather than a clip of it is an interesting read.
I found her uncertainty with Clinton's hawkish tendency to be more telling than the little clip CNN chose to extract.

Chris Kattenburg Maddow is a very wise political pundit, but she isn't paid to be imaginative.

Todd Bricker I love Rachel Maddow, but it's too early to predict the Tsunami. Here she tries to predict America's reaction to an African American Candidate in March of 2008, 8 months before that election. We haven't even gone through enough primaries to see a trend developing. Patience my friends.http://blatherwatch.blogs.com/.../03/rachel-maddow-m.html

Geoffrey Sea Maddow is nothing but a Clinton shill. She's a disgrace to journalism and should not be permitted to host debates.

Geoffrey Sea Listen to YOURself -- you're condoning having a partisan MODERATE a debate. You wouldn't even approve that for a GOP debate. How about we have Robert Reich moderate a debate? Will Clinton agree to that?

Jodi Scott Please read the Playboy article itself, rather than an excerpt, and if at that time you still feel Maddow is a shill, then you're certainly entitled to your opinion, but it will be a fully informed one. This excerpt doesn't do the article justice. I believe cherry picking was mentioned in last nights debate, and this extraction is a good example of that.

Che Bustamante I'm sick of these unsupported conspiracy theories about bias in the media - so WHAT that a news organization is owned by a larger corporation - at this point any further unsubstantiated claims of bias (and showing that a larger corporation owns a media group is not proof - it's a damn business!), will get your comment deleted and you might be thrown out of the group.

" NBC Universal was formed on May 12, 2004 by the merger of General Electric's National Broadcasting Company with Vivendi's Vivendi Universal Entertainment.[8][9] GE and US cable TV operator Comcast announced a buyout agreement for the company on December 3, 2009. Following regulatory approvals, the transaction completed on January 28, 2011. Comcast subsequently owned 51% of NBCUniversal while GE owned 49%.[9][10][11] Comcast intended to buy out the rest of GE's stake over the following seven years, but nothing happened until February 12, 2013, when Comcast announced its intention to complete the purchase all at once and assume 100% ownership of the company by the end of March.[12][13] The deal was finalized on March 19, 2013.[14 "

This was the second time Comcast had been awarded this title, the first being in 2010.[151] "

" Chase was primarily a wholesale bank, dealing with other prominent financial institutions and major corporate clients, such as General Electric, which had, through its RCA subsidiary, leased prominent space and become a crucial first tenant of Rockefeller Center, rescuing that major project in 1930. The bank is also closely associated with and has financed the oil industry, having longstanding connections with its board of directors to the successor companies of Standard Oil, especially ExxonMobil, which are also Rockefeller holdings.
